Amsterdam Airfare - Beware of Home Based Travel Companies
It is crazy how each one has it's own little twist to their product or compensation plan but most often you are paying $300-$500 for a $10 product. And now I know why. I've always shied away from the home based travel business arena. I've become intrigued with the travel industry. Nowadays you really need to do your homework before getting involved in a travel company. Or are travel companies coming out of the woodwork, is it me, wow?
I learned that out of 50 mock booking comparisons I had the exact same results, when I finally did some comparisons. I got caught off guard last year for a program that used the a Travelocity's affiliate site to bring in $275 per sale. It's sad how so many people get taken advantage of because they don't do their diligence.
Make sure that you know what you are buying, i'm just saying. So you are still getting a 50% discount from their "normal rate". There are at least 5 new travel companies that are buying these travel cards for $300+ And then you still have to pay a minimum of $299 extra to book your vacation, right now.
Find out what their track record is and if need be you should be able to contact the CEO/Owner of the company and ask them any questions that you have. How long have they been in the industry? You really need to do your research on the person that is running the company. But not everyone has their business planned past the launch. Anyone could probably start their own for less than $2000. It's actually pretty easy to start your own MLM. You really need to know who you are buying from, more importantly, maybe.
The biggest reason people fail in this industry is because they are not given the proper training on how to market their opportunity. I have been digging into some of the travel companies out there and very few have any kind of training outside of what different teams provide, over the past several months. Successful businesses have systems and they train you how to use that system. Do they have a proven marketing system? It's also a good idea to find out what kind of training they provide, in my opinion.
Find something that is going to last. You don't want to get involved in a business that might last a year or 2. Don't be afraid to interview them, find out who would be your upline, google it. Don't just fall for all the fluff and hoopla. These are a few things that you really need to research when deciding on which home based travel business you want to get into.
